Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – 2 of 2 found this helpful – Sat, 15 Aug 2015

Interviewed null -1(took 28 days)
I was asked to meet with a program coordinator and senior engineer. Both of them were very outgoing and genuinely interested in measuring for fit - both on their end and on my end. The conversation started by them asking what I want to get out of my job and the position. They later discussed more about what they were looking for, and wanted to ensure I was someone they could work WITH. Overall, not as scary of a process as I anticipated; however, I prepared for it diligently (just like anyone should do).

Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Thu, 27 Aug 2015

Interviewed Jul 2015 in San Francisco, CA(took 21 days)
Applied online, had phone interview two weeks later, then two interviews in person. People are all very nice and easy going. The first in person interview was long, I was asked a lot about my past experience, then I was asked to read some engineering drawings, and I was tested on my language skills (this position requires chinese mandarin skills). The second round was a lot easier, long as well, but I met many people.

Interviewed Jul 2014
The interview process involved sitting down and answering question for three interviewers. None of the questions were particularly hard with any kind of preparation. As with any other job you just need to present past experiences, however tangental, that are essential to that job.

Relaxed and friendly. Went through CV and compared previous jobs to this one. Some questions included competency based answers, but nothing too tricky. There were no formal tests so as long as you had the right CV and were friendly enough, the job is yours.

Very Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Mon, 31 Aug 2015

Interviewed null -1 in Charleston, SC(took 14 days)
Was a laid back interview started with a phone interview two weeks prior was interested in having me come in. I was available at anytime for an interview and they chose to make it at 4 pm on a Thursday. Was laid back never uncomfortable until the Vice President he had my resume in front of him and for some reason a print off of my linked in he was very unprofessional. Get got my name wrong 3 times. Asked some questions and bashed me for getting laid off because the company is going belly up. needless to say I got an automated email saying I was not selected for the position. Was almost like they had someone selected and I wasted my time.

The recruiter was very friendly and gave me information on the company and internship program. The executive comp team manager was very nice and the interview was casual and more conversation-based which made the position even more appealing to me. Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Mon, 7 Sep 2015

Interviewed Apr 2014 in Atlanta, GA(took 30 days)
I completed 2 phone interviews since I could not travel to their office and they didn't have on-campus interviews. The first interview was fairly simple. The interviewer asked very basic questions based off of my resume. I was asked to explain my past work experience, as well as what extracurricular activities I was involved in at the time. The interviewer asked about my microstation experience. In the second interview (about 3 weeks later) I was asked about my availability and if I was okay with travel. Based off the second interview I figured I had the job, but they just needed details to see how long I could work for and if it was worth hiring me for only one summer. About a week after the second interview I received an offer.
